In response to directives from the State of Texas regarding the Covid 19 virus, Well of Life Church is restricting attendance at Wednesday and Sunday services to scheduled worship teams, elders, pastoral staff and essential technical staff. All other meetings and events are cancelled till further notice. We will live stream and video record both servies to Facebook and later upload to our website and app availability. Note the scheduled time changes and format later in this letter.

The elders and pastoral staff of Well of Life Church have chosen to follow the directives of national, state and local officials out of submission and most importantly because we love all people and want to do our part to restrict this virus spread.

Sunday morning service will be broadcast on Facebook at 10:30AM.

Wednesday service will be broadcast on Facebook at 6:30PM.

The Bible does say to not forsake assembling with the brethren. We know these are challenging times and your pastoral staff encourages you to stay connected during this time of separation but certainly not isolation. Together we will experience God's grace and discover new depths of encounters with Holy Spirit. Psalm 46:1-2 (NKJV) "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, even though the earth be removed,..."

We encourage everyone to watch on Facebook video at Well of Life Church. We anticipate there may be disruptions due to high Internet loads and will add other means of live broadcasting in the coming weeks. We will be able to see who is watching and you can make comments and interact with others online. We hope you will give input, words and prayer requests during the online videos and we will try to attend to those during each service. You can also utilize the Well of Life app, Facebook page and website to send in prayer requets, give offerings and view helpful content such as Valerie's negativity fast posts. Pastors, elders and members are encouraged to intereact by phone or text so you do not feel isolated during this stressful time. Don't wait to receive a call; you let someone know you care first.

We encourage everyone to wash hands regularly particularly after touching surfaces others have used and before touching your face. CDC recommends as a good routine to not shake hands, use sanitizer often, cough into a handkerchief or your elbow not your hands, wash hands well and not touch your face with unsanitized hands.

While this is a real and present danger, we as the body of Christ should not give away to a spirit of fear as the Word says we have the Spirit of love, power and sound thinking. Jesus declared peace to the storms and we should as well. Apostle Paul was shipwreced in a storm but his prayers brought deliverance to all onboard as well as to a whole island of people. We shall do greater works than these, says our Lord Jesus. And I most want to remind us, laying on hands for healing was not the only means seen in the Bible. Handkerchiefs, shadows and just speak the word worked well for Paul, Peter and Jesus.

Blessings, Pastor Kirk
