about Well of Life Church

Who We Are

We believe church is more than a place you attend—it's a place where lives are transformed.

At Well of Life, we gather to worship Jesus, learn from His Word, encourage one another, and make room for God to work in our lives. Whether you're exploring faith for the first time or have followed Jesus for years, we'd love to walk alongside you.

Beginning • Belonging • Building

BEGIN

Every journey with God begins somewhere.

We believe the foundation of faith is found in Jesus Christ. Whether you're asking questions, returning to church, or taking your first steps of faith, we're here to help you begin a relationship with Him.

Belong

Faith was never meant to be lived alone.

God created us for relationship—with Him and with one another. Through worship, community, and serving, we grow best when we're connected to a spiritual family.

Get Connected

Build

Healthy disciples help build healthy families and communities.

As we grow in Christ, God equips each of us to serve others, use our gifts, and participate in what He's doing in our community and beyond.

At the Heart of Well of Life

Jesus is our foundation.
Everything we do begins and ends with Him.

God's presence changes lives.
We believe He is still at work today, drawing people to Himself and transforming hearts.

Relationships matter.
We were created to know God and to grow alongside one another.

Everyone has a place to grow.
No matter where you are in your faith journey, there's always a next step.

why the clay pots

We have this treasure

In the summer of 1997, several women from Well of Life attended a small conference in Arlington. During an afternoon break, they stopped at Pier 1 Imports, where Karen Horton noticed a collection of decorative clay pots.

As she looked at them, she sensed the Lord speaking clearly to her heart:

Buy these pots to remind the people that they have this treasure in earthen vessels. When you move, take them with you to teach future generations this truth.
At the time, no one knew that Well of Life would be given its current building just two years later. After speaking with the church elders, the pots were purchased—not simply as decoration, but as a lasting reminder of what God had spoken.

Today, they continue to point us back to the truth that the treasure is not found in the vessel itself, but in the presence and power of God within us.
But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellence of the power may be of God and not of us.
2 Corinthians 4:7, NKJV

Why We Worship the Way We Do

If you're new to Well of Life, you may notice some expressions of worship that are unfamiliar. We believe worship is a response to who God is, and many of the ways we worship are rooted in Scripture. Here are a few questions we hear most often.
