SHADY GROVE CHURCHShady Grove Church began in 1937 as a mission of the First Baptist Church of Grand Prairie. The focus of the weekend services is to worship God with all of our heart. In this atmosphere we encounter God and His presence in a very personal way. His presence is very important to us. We believe that we are to come to the services with the attitude of giving God our highest praise and giving Him room to do what He wants to do. So during the worship services there is a liberty for you to express your love for God in a way that you desire without fear of embarrassment. We are equally passionate about people. We believe that here on earth people are the main thing. I know that sounds like a cliché, but we really mean it and try to live it in everything we do. We believe our primary purpose is to love the people of the Metroplex into a relationship with Jesus Christ. We seek to do that every day and in every activity of the church. NEW HAVEN MINISTRIESNew Haven began with the formation of New Haven Home, Inc. in 1987. Later the New Haven Family Center came into being to meet the growing need to house and help intact families that were experiencing homelessness due to loss of job or a job that would not allow them to earn enough money to support their familiy. New Haven Helping Hands formed when the need became apparent that the working poor were having a great deal of trouble just existing on the low wages they were earning, Also. to meet the needs of a growing senior population that were in jeopardy because of the small income they had and the increasing cost of food and utilities.
NEW LIFE CHILDREN'S HOMENew Life Children's Home in Villa Nueva, Guatemala, is truly a special place where formerly abused, neglected and impovrished children receive 24-hour-a-day care in a loving, Christ-filled environment. Here, children who have been rescued from a life of devastating poverty, insecurity and peril are given a new life in Jesus Christ.

Life Water InternationalLifewater International is a Christian training organization that understands the need in our world for safe water, improved hygiene, and sanitation. We believe that the solutions to these problems can be addressed through the development of local communities. Qualified Lifewater volunteers travel to developing countries to train nationals to improve local drinking water supplies and community health. National crews are able to continue working and training others after volunteers return home. They share the gospel message of living water with communities as they help break the cycle of disease and poverty.
